The Type R Wafer Check Valve, 3-1/16 in × 15M Flanged, 15,000 psi, API 6A PSL 3 PR1, EE Material Class L+U is a type r check valve rated for 15,000 psi working pressure (15K class) with 3-1/16 in API 6A 15M Flanged (RTJ) inlet and 3-1/16 in API 6A 15M Flanged (RTJ) outlet. NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 sour-service compliant.

Wafer-style swing check, wafer body fits between matching API 6A 6BX flanges. The disc pivots on a top-mounted hinge and seats by gravity / line pressure. Distinguished by the very short face-to-face dimension and the ring-joint (RTJ) flange interface — common at the inlet of choke manifolds and Christmas tree side-outlets.
