The Swing Check Valve, In-Line, 3 in × 1502 F×M, 15,000 psi, Standard Service is a swing il check valve rated for 15,000 psi working pressure (15K class) with 3 in 1502 Female Weco Union inlet and 3 in 1502 Male Weco Union outlet. Standard service rated.

In-line swing-disc design — a hinged disc opens with forward flow and swings closed against reverse flow. Low pressure drop (Cv-equivalent close to a full-bore tee), bidirectional installation orientation supported, but horizontal-with-cover-up or vertical-flow-up installation is preferred for cleanest disc seating.

Performance

Installation

Install with the flow arrow on the body matching line direction. For swing types, horizontal-with-cover-up is the preferred orientation; vertical-flow-up is also supported. Avoid vertical-flow-down installation (the disc fights gravity to close).
