Variant context
Standard cam & groove couplings (sometimes called quick-disconnect or "camlock") use two cam arms to engage a male adapter into a female coupler with a soft gasket seal. Industry standard since 1949 for fast hose / pipe / tank connections in low-to-medium-pressure transfer applications. Compliant with MIL-A-A-59326 (US) and EN 14420 (Europe).
