The Metric standpipe for DIN 2353 fittings is a SS316L stainless-steel hydraulic hose fitting in the straight configuration. Manufactured from 316L (austenitic, low-carbon, marine-grade) stainless steel and passivated for native corrosion resistance — ideal for chemical, marine, food-grade, and pharmaceutical hydraulic service where carbon-steel fittings would corrode.
Pressure rating tracks the host hose grade and ferrule when crimped to the correct diameter. Operating temperature -40°C to +200°C (limited by hose / O-ring material). 316L resists chloride pitting, marine atmosphere, dilute mineral acids, and food-grade cleaning chemistry.
Specify (a) the host hose grade and bore size, (b) the matching SS316L crimp ferrule (also available from Indus), and (c) the thread size on the SS316L body. Indus crimps and pressure-tests the assembly on request.
