The Globe Valve, 2 in × 150# RF, 285 psi, Standard Service is a process globe valve rated for 285 psi working pressure (ANSI 150 class), 2 in 150# ANSI Raised-Face Flange. Standard service rated.

Linear-motion plug-on-seat design — the disc translates vertically against a circular seat. Suitable for both fully open / fully closed isolation AND throttling service (unlike ball / gate / plug valves which are isolation-only). Closure tightness is set by the seat and disc machining; throttling capability comes from the body's tortuous flow path which gives a near-linear flow coefficient curve.
