BSP family — British Standard Pipe — ISO 228-1 (BSPP, parallel) and ISO 7-1 (BSPT, taper). BSPP requires a separate seal (bonded-seal washer, ED seal, 60° cone, or flat-face); BSPT is taper-on-taper self-sealing.
